100 Members = $1,500 Donation!
Want to make your equity membership dollars worth even more? Help us get to 100 members!
The Richfield Springs Community Food Cooperative launched a membership drive in the month of June. Over the course of the month, 73 individuals and local businesses have become equity members of the cooperative.
An anonymous, community-minded individual has approached the Cooperative and offered a $1,500 incentive to get the RSCFC to their goal of $10,000 to open the doors, but there are some terms:
To receive these funds, RSCFC must collect 27 additional members (making our total 100!) by July 31, 2018
The RSCFC will be a community owned grocery store, cafe, and CoWorking space that focuses on carrying locally produced foods and products. Our plan is to create a community space that is centered on food, friends, and community.
We want to work with local vendors to supply our store with produce, eggs, cheeses, meats, honey, maple syrup, jellies, coffee, and other shelf-stable food stuffs. We also plan to include local art, crafts, and non-food products for sale, on consignment.
Our CoWorking space offers independent workers and small business owners a Main St. location with access to high speed internet, printing/scanning and a community of other business people to network with.
